This tour is the combination of the Irazu Volcano National Park and the Orosi Lankester Gardens. Start the day by watching the impressive crater of the Irazu Volcano. As we descend to the city of Cartago we will stop at the Virgin of the Angels Basilica. The Basilica with its large vaulted ceilings and exquisite examples of stained glass windows, is a must see. After the Basilica, a stop at Lankester Gardens, which protects more than 800 species of orchids, bromeliads and countless species of other plants. We’ll continue to the Valley of Orosi, one of the most beautiful areas in Costa Rica where we will have a typical lunch at a local restaurant.
