Start the day by driving towards Arenal Volcano. The first stop is at Sarchi, the birthplace of Costa Rican artisans. After Sarchi we’ll continue to the volcano while going through diverse plantations of agricultural products, include pineapple farms, mango groves, ornamental plants and cattle ranches. At La Fortuna, lunch at a restaurant with a spectacular view of Arenal Volcano. After lunch relax at one of the best hot springs (Baldi or Tabacon) in the area with the rejuvenating effects of the hot springs, (an optional massage or another special treatment that is best be reserved in advance). For a perfect ending, before heading back to San José, a dinner in front of a great view of the volcano at night.
